Children's Martial Arts in Huntsville
Our children’s program focuses on Ages 6.5 – 13. Our training will enhance students’ balance, hand/eye coordination, body strength and flexibility. Not only will your child develop physically, but they will also build a solid foundation to overcoming obstacles in life. Students will learn integrity, concentration, perseverance, humility, self-control, respect, obedience, and form an indomitable spirit. Our class provides the right balance of discipline and fun, allowing student to build their character while making them excited to come back for more.
Martial arts eliminates the stress of developing skills before the student is ready. Each child learns at their own pace, concurrent with their physical and mental development. Our instructors are dedicated to providing the best instruction they can to each child. Students will be welcomed into an encouraging environment, where they can form new relationships and trust among their peers and instructors.
Along with strength training, students will begin developing the tools for self-defense. Students will learn how to resolve conflicts that may appear through bullies, strangers, and their peers. Students will build confidence and develop self-control over their strength, while learning to mindfully make a decision in a physical confrontation. However, students are not encouraged to immediately respond with violence. Instead, they are taught to diffuse the situation and notify a trusted adult, only responding with their karate if attacked.
